We take your old Lego and create gifts for disadvantaged children at Christmas.
Our first task is to sort the Lego donations, removing any non-genuine Lego products. These might include, crayons, toy soldiers and pencil sharpeners!
QUALITY CONTROL STAGE ONE
At this stage, we check all the Lego for quality, removing any pieces that are damaged, chewed or just too dirty to be cleaned.
THE BIG CLEAN
To ensure each Lego piece has been fully cleaned, we treat batches of Lego in our Professional Ultra Sonic cleaning tank with a specialised detergent solution. The Lego is then warm air dried.
All the Lego is now sorted into categories in preparation for packing; at this stage, we also run a second quality control. Once the Lego has been sorted, each category is placed into a sealed PVC container, dated and stored in a cool, dry environment for a minimum of 14 days to aid in the elimination of any bacteria.
One of our favourite stages is to create characters from all the mini-figure components. We make sure every character has a hat or hair and is holding an accessory.
Our gift boxes are filled by weight to ensure consistency and just the right amount of Lego to start creating and building the next Lego masterpiece.
WHAT’S IN THE BOX?
Each gift pack contains approximately 550g of mixed Lego, made up of; Plates, Classic Bricks, Wheels and Axle sets, mixed Lego and two mini figures. Now packed and sealed, ready for distribution, that’s where the real Magic begins.
